Tartu University Hospital (TUH) is the only teaching hospital in Estonia. With 940 beds it provides medical care in all specialties to more than 500,000 people. There are 2100-2200 deliveries per year. One of its division, Children’s Clinic, provides medical care in 13 different paediatric subspecialties including neonatology, paediatric endocrinology and allergology. 

TUH (partner No 7) is the second study center of the PREVALL trial. The principal investigator is Professor Vallo Tillmann. Professor Vallo Tillmann’s Group is responsible for implementation of the PREVALL trial in Tartu, collection of samples and data (WP2). The will also provide data and study materials from living environment of Estonian subjects from DIABIMMUNE and PREVALL studies (WP5).  Professor Vallo Tillmann´s team has participated in several international collaborative studies in autoimmune diseases (TRIGR, DIABIMMUNE).
